Recent breakthroughs in remote‐sensing technology have led to the development of high spectral resolution imaging sensors for observation of earth surface features. This research was conducted to evaluate the effects of organic matter content and composition on narrow‐band soil reflectance across the visible and reflective infrared spectral ranges. The use of all spectral data in ANN models may bring about extremely long training time when the sample sets are large and increases the risk of overfitting (Mouazen et al., , Viscarra Rossel and Behrens, ). Therefore, we tested combined methods PCA-ANN and PLS-ANN where principal components and latent variables, respectively were used Author: Anna Pudełko, Marcin Chodak. To evaluate the changes in DOC induced by oxidation, the organic matter fractions were determined with LC-OCD-OND. Although cell viability was monitored at multiple CTs, the max CT for each oxidant was used for LC-OCD-OND, i.e., chlorine at 37 mg-min/L, ozone at mg-min/L, potassium permanganate at mg-min/L, and hydrogen peroxide at mg-min/ by: 2. spectral data to determine structures of organic molecules. Analytical chemistry is the branch of chemistry that deals with the development and use of instrumental techniques such as these to determine structures of molecules, and it is the subject of.
Book: Labile Organic Matter—Chemical Compositions, Function, and Significance in Soil and the Environment. spectroscopy were applied to evaluate the effects of cropping management practices on the composition of soil humic substances (HS). These spectral data show that the impacts of management practices were mainly on the carbonyl group Cited by: 1. This research was conducted to evaluate the effects of organic matter content and composition on narrowband soil reflectance across the visible and reflective infrared spectral ranges. Organic. Soil organic matter (SOM) content is an important index to measure the level of soil function and soil quality. However, conventional studies on estimation of SOM content concerned about the classic integer derivative of spectral data, while the fractional derivative information was ignored. In this research, a total of soil samples were collected in the Ebinur Lake basin, Xinjiang Uighur Cited by: 7. This paper describes the spectral-band-selection (SBS) algorithm of Chen and Landgrebe (, , and ) and uses the algorithm to classify the organic matter content in the earth's surface soil.
In this study, the oxidization-induced chemiluminescence (OCL) of NOM was A Novel Strategy to Evaluate the Aromaticity Degree of Natural Organic Matter Based on Oxidization-Induced Chemiluminescence | Environmental Science & TechnologyAuthor: Jitao Lv, Ruixia Han, Lei Luo, Xiangyun Zhang, Shuzhen Zhang. The rapid development of imaging technology provides a means of acquiring information on SOM content non-destructively, rapidly, and accurately using hyperspectral data. The spectral response of the organic matter was mainly ranged from – nm and – nm. Publication Type: Book / Chapter on labile organic matter in ultisol is scanty. Therefore, as a case study, this chapter presents and discusses the data on different organic matter fractions in Alabama cotton soils (ultisol) amended with chemical fertilizer (NH4NO3) and poultry litter and managed as no-till, till, and mulch-till practices. describing absorption by chromophoric dissolved organic matter (CDOM), a g, as a function of wavelength, k. The spectral slope, s e, is often used as a proxy for CDOM composition, including the ratio of fulvic to humic acids and molecular weight. About three-quarters of the variability in s.
